Taoist Lineage Holder Bruce Frantzis
Temple Byron, Byron Bay, 19 March, 6:30-9:30pm

Over thousands of years China’s Taoist communities developed ways to enable relationships between

men and women to run more smoothly and use the combination of their yin and yang energy for spiritual development.

In particular, during and after making love, the man and the woman would utilize meditation methods to release and clear the subliminal energy between them to benefit both by:

·        Releasing the sexual energetic residue immediately afterward to make their next encounter new and fresh: a wonderful antidote to sexual boredom.

·       Diminishing the tendency of the sexual act to afterwards engender excessive and painful emotional attachments such as anger, jealousy, obsessive possessiveness and fear.

·       Not carrying the sexual energy of one partner into another’s bed which can be very disconcerting.

Offered for the first time in Australia, in this workshop Bruce Frantzis will introduce topics from his groundbreaking new book, Taoist Sexual Meditation: Connecting Love, Energy and Spirit, such as:

·       The Dissolving method of meditation, usually done while sitting, which is the core practice of Lao Tse’s Water Branch of Taoism.

·       How the interactive practices of Taoism play out in the realm of sexual meditation.

·       Time permitting, answering questions related to sexual qigong and its methods.
